About the event

About 101.6 million BTW, the token of Bitway, are due to be released on Monday 2 November 2026, according to the unlock trackers Tokenomist and Tokenomics.com. That is roughly 1% of the 10 billion BTW total supply and the eighth monthly release since the token launched in March. Bitway itself has published no schedule: its documentation lists the token contracts but no supply table, no vesting terms and no unlock dates. Every figure on this page therefore comes from a tracker, and the trackers do not agree on everything.

CryptoTicker, in an article of 25 October, puts the release at 08:00 UTC. That is 03:00 in New York, where clocks go back on 1 November, and 09:00 in Paris and Rome. It is the only outlet we found giving an hour. Tokenomist and Tokenomics.com give the date alone.

Bitway BTW token unlock: what the trackers agree on

The date and the size line up across sources. Tokenomics.com lists 101,622,256 BTW for 2 November, 1.0% of supply. CoinMarketCap, as quoted by CryptoTicker, shows 101,628,455 BTW, about 6,200 tokens more. Tokenomist states that the next Bitway unlock is scheduled for 2 November 2026 but shows no amount; its allocation and emission sections did not load when we read the page on 29 October.

Releases fall on the 2nd of each month. Tokenomics.com counts 49 release dates, from the token generation event (TGE) on 2 March 2026 to 2 March 2030. Seven monthly tranches have gone out since April. Counting this one, 41 remain, holding about 7.09 billion BTW or 70.9% of the supply; the site prints two slightly different totals for that figure, 7,088,610,029 and 7,088,636,708. The next dates are 2 December, 2 January and 2 February. The largest single release on its calendar is 2 March 2027, at 2.2% of supply.

Tokenomist priced BTW at $1.80 on its page last updated at 09:10 UTC on 29 October 2026. At that price the 2 November tranche is worth about $183 million. Tokenomics.com puts it at $193.1 million without saying which price or time it used. Either way the dollar value moves with the price, so read it as a snapshot, not as a figure for the day itself.

Who gets the tokens: the trackers disagree

Tokenomist labels the 2 November release “Backers”. Tokenomics.com attributes it entirely to the community allocation. CoinMarketCap, again via CryptoTicker, splits it into 60,165,041 BTW for the community and 41,463,415 BTW for the ecosystem, both released linearly.

The vesting terms published by Tokenomics.com point to the community and ecosystem reading. On that site, the community pool (26.67% of supply) releases 7.5% at TGE and the rest over 41 months; the ecosystem pool (20%) releases 15% at TGE and the rest over 41 months. Worked through, that is about 60.17 million and 41.46 million BTW a month, 101.63 million together, which is CoinMarketCap’s split almost to the token. The same terms put the team behind a 12-month cliff followed by 36 months of vesting, and backers behind a 12-month cliff followed by 24 months. Counted from 2 March 2026, neither group would receive anything before 2 March 2027, which would also explain why that month is the largest on the calendar.

That is our arithmetic on a tracker’s data, not a statement from Bitway. Tokenomist’s page shows no table that would let us test its “Backers” label, and Bitway has published nothing that settles the question.

How much BTW is already in circulation

Measured against the total supply, 101.6 million BTW is 1%. Measured against the tokens already circulating, the share depends on the tracker. Our page on how market capitalisation uses circulating supply explains why that gap matters.

SourceCirculating supplyRelease as share of it (our calculation)
Tokenomist, 29 Oct, 09:10 UTC1,505,787,513 BTW6.75%
CoinGecko, read 29 Octabout 1.506 billion BTWabout 6.75%
Tokenomics.com, “as of October 2026”2,708,142,280 BTW3.75%
CoinMarketCap via CryptoTicker, 25 Octabout 2.91 billion BTWabout 3.5%

The two higher figures can be rebuilt from Tokenomics.com’s own numbers: 2.2 billion BTW released at TGE, plus five monthly tranches, gives 2.71 billion; plus seven gives 2.91 billion. No source explains the 1.5 billion used by Tokenomist and CoinGecko. Tokenomics.com also shows 203,221,012 BTW, two monthly tranches, as unlocked but not yet in the market, a reminder that “unlocked” and “circulating” are different counts.

The gap carries into valuations. Tokenomist reported a market cap of $2.70 billion and a fully diluted valuation of $18.00 billion at 09:10 UTC on 29 October; its FAQ on the same page gives $18.1 billion without explaining the difference. CryptoTicker noted on 25 October that CoinMarketCap flags BTW’s supply as self-reported by the project.

What Bitway is

Bitway describes itself as a capital gateway between on-chain liquidity and global markets. Its main product, Bitway Earn, takes deposits of USDT, U or USD1 into on-chain vaults and returns a yield-bearing token such as bwUSDT. The Earn FAQ says the yield comes from institutional strategies on centralised exchanges and that deployed funds move to a designated custodian, such as an exchange account. It does not name the custodian or the strategy operator.

Withdrawals through Normal Unstake typically take seven days and carry no fee. An instant Flash Unstake costs a penalty the FAQ does not quantify, and the protocol may pause either route in extreme market conditions. Bitway charges no management or performance fee, per the same page. The docs list audits of Bitway Earn by BlockSec and Salus, without dates, and do not say whether the product is open to users in the US, the UK or the EU.

BTW is the project’s utility and governance token, used for staking, boosted rates and fee discounts according to the official token page, which gives contracts on BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum and says governance currently runs on BSC. Bitway’s docs name no team. A PANews report of 21 January 2026, as carried by MEXC, said the project, formerly Side Protocol, had closed a $4.444 million seed round led by TRON DAO Ventures with HTX Ventures; we could not confirm it with Bitway. Tokenomics.com separately lists a backer round of $4.5 million at an entry price of $0.0027 per BTW.

When we read CoinGecko on 29 October, the busiest BTW markets by 24-hour volume were on HTX, Gate and Bitget, with a Uniswap pool on BNB Chain further down. Coindaro has a review of Bitget; we have not reviewed the other venues.

Bitway Earn moves stablecoin deposits from on-chain vaults to a custodian; its docs list two audits but name no custodian.

What is still unknown

Bitway has not confirmed the date, the hour, the amount or the recipients of the release. Nobody has published the vesting contract address, so it is not known whether the tokens move to a wallet, an exchange or another contract, or whether their holders will sell, stake or keep them. The true circulating supply remains disputed between 1.5 and 2.9 billion BTW.

Tokenomics.com also logs BTW’s price after each earlier release. It is one tracker’s record over seven releases, mixed with other news from the same weeks, and it is no guide to what follows 2 November.

The checkable points are the trackers’ pages after 2 November and any statement on Bitway’s official channels. Our explainer on token unlocks covers the mechanics of vesting and cliffs. Another release this month is the Kite AI unlock around 3 November. This page reports a schedule and dated figures; it makes no price forecast and is not investment advice.
