StandX airdrop: DUSD claims open 1 November as the exchange shuts down

Confirmed Verified Risk 3/5

Deadline in

Step by step

  1. From 26 October 2026, 00:00 UTC: type standx.com/airdrop yourself and connect the wallet you used on StandX (BNB Chain or Solana) to see your allocation.
  2. From 1 November 00:00 UTC to 31 December 2026, 08:00 UTC: claim the full DUSD amount on the same page (no lockup).
  3. Before 15 January 2027: close your open positions, or StandX closes them at Mark Price.
  4. Before 31 January 2027: withdraw from the Perps Wallet to the Cash Wallet, then to your own wallet (received as DUSD).
  5. Before 31 January 2027: request DUSD redemption for USDT through the official portal, or swap DUSD on PancakeSwap or Raydium.

Our notes

The StandX airdrop is real, but it comes with a shutdown. StandX, a perpetual futures exchange on BNB Chain and Solana, said on 15 October 2026 that it will not launch a token and will “gradually cease operations”. Instead it will pay its community a one-time airdrop in DUSD, its own stablecoin, with no lockup. The checker opens on 26 October at 00:00 UTC, claims run from 1 November 00:00 UTC to 31 December 2026 at 08:00 UTC, and anything unclaimed after that is forfeited, according to the announcement published by @StandX_Official on X.

The claim window is not the deadline that carries the most money. Open positions will be closed by StandX on 15 January 2027, and 31 January 2027 is the last day to withdraw funds or ask for DUSD to be redeemed. Below: what StandX has said, what it has left out, and the order in which users need to act.

StandX cancels its token and winds down

The official source is an X Article titled “[Important] StandX DUSD Airdrop and Further Operational Arrangements”, posted on 15 October at 06:06 UTC by @StandX_Official, an account carrying X’s verified organization badge and listing standx.com as its website. The StandX website now carries a banner asking users to read the announcement and withdraw their assets in time, and its “Learn more” link points to that post. A companion post from the same account says StandX “will airdrop $DUSD with no lockup and will not proceed with a token launch” (post of 15 October) and sums up the timeline: claims from 1 November to 31 December, Reduce-Only on 20 October, positions closed on 15 January, withdrawals and redemptions closed on 31 January.

The reasons given are brief. StandX says it will “gradually cease operations” after “a strategic review of the business and market conditions”, and calls the choice not to launch a token “the right decision for our community”. It gives no figures on revenue, costs or trading volume to back either decision. The team admits some users will be disappointed after putting their trust, time and effort into the platform, and that the airdrop will not meet everyone’s expectations.

The airdrop is funded by “all of the project’s remaining revenue” plus money added by the team, according to StandX. Most of the revenue it earned had already gone back to users through the SIP-2 and SIP-3 reward programs. StandX is not alone in closing this month: Coindaro also covered Blur’s shutdown this week.

What StandX was

StandX built a decentralized exchange for perpetual futures, with a twist: trading margin kept earning yield while positions stayed open. That yield came from DUSD, a yield-bearing stablecoin that StandX describes as fully collateralized. Mainnet went live in November 2025. By StandX’s own count the platform had “more than 237K users” and a total value locked that peaked above $200 million. StandX also says it never had a fund security incident; that is the company’s claim and we could not check it independently.

Beyond perps, the product list included Universal Markets, Block Trades, Block Options and a set of vaults (SLP Vault, Community Strategy Vault, Community Shield Vault and Community Reward Vault). Every one of them is affected by the timeline below.

StandX airdrop: who is eligible

StandX says allocations are “based on your activity on StandX”, and it names five kinds of activity: Pre-deposit, Alpha, Mainnet trading, market making and referrals. You claim with the wallet address you used on StandX, on BNB Chain or Solana.

All allocations go through anti-Sybil and wash-trading screening. StandX “reserves the right to adjust or void allocations for abnormal accounts”, so a figure shown by the checker is not a promise if your account gets flagged.

What StandX has not published

A lot is still unknown. StandX has given no total size for the airdrop, no per-user formula, no minimum amount and no snapshot date. It has not said how each activity is weighted. We will not guess: the only way to see an amount is the checker from 26 October. Anyone quoting “expected” StandX airdrop figures before then is speculating.

StandX users have until 31 January 2027 to withdraw funds or request DUSD redemption.

Trading carries on normally until 20 October, StandX says. After that you can reduce or close positions but not open new ones or add to existing ones. Reserved Block Options can still be executed until they expire.

On 15 January 2027, shares in the SLP, Community Strategy and Community Shield vaults return to holders’ Perps Wallets at final NAV. Leftover budgets in the Community Reward Vault go back to whoever funded them.

How to claim the DUSD airdrop

  1. From 26 October 00:00 UTC, type standx.com/airdrop into your browser yourself. Do not follow links from messages or replies.
  2. Connect the wallet you used on StandX, on BNB Chain or Solana, and read your allocation.
  3. Between 1 November 00:00 UTC and 31 December 08:00 UTC, claim on the same page. The DUSD is yours in full straight away: StandX says you can transfer, trade or redeem it once claimed.

The announcement does not give the page’s address beyond “the official StandX airdrop page”; standx.com/airdrop is the airdrop page on StandX’s own domain. The checker is not live before 26 October, so we cannot describe the interface yet. Claiming should cost a network fee on BNB Chain or Solana; StandX has not published an amount. This is a free airdrop in the sense that no deposit or purchase is required.

What to do before 15 January and 31 January

The claim deadline gets the attention, but the withdrawal deadline is the one that touches money already sitting on StandX. The steps, according to the announcement:

  1. Close your positions yourself before 15 January 2027, or StandX closes them at Mark Price on that day.
  2. Move funds from the Perps Wallet to the Cash Wallet, then to your own onchain wallet, before 31 January 2027. Withdrawals arrive as DUSD. StandX warns that networks can congest and advises withdrawing early.
  3. If you want USDT rather than DUSD, submit a redemption request through StandX’s official portal by 31 January. Under the current 7-day process, StandX says all redemptions complete by 7 February.
  4. Or swap DUSD on PancakeSwap or Raydium. If you provide DUSD liquidity there, exit before 31 January, when StandX pulls its own liquidity.

That last point has a consequence StandX does not spell out. Once its liquidity leaves those pools, swapping DUSD on the secondary market may get harder or more expensive. That is our inference, not a StandX statement, but it argues for not leaving DUSD unredeemed until the final days.

“Your assets are safe. DUSD is fully collateralized. You can withdraw all assets in full,” StandX writes. Balances left after 31 January “continue to belong to their respective wallet owners”, and recovering them means emailing [email protected]. For other questions, StandX points users to its official Discord. If you are new to coins like DUSD, our guide what are stablecoins explains how redemption is supposed to work.

Excluded countries, MiCA and tax

StandX’s announcement names no restricted countries, and we could not open a terms page listing excluded jurisdictions. Whether EU residents, including users in France or Italy, are allowed to claim is not stated. Read the terms on standx.com before connecting a wallet.

There is no MiCA white paper because no token is being issued. DUSD itself is a stablecoin from a project outside the EU, and its status under MiCA is unknown; StandX has said nothing about it. For the wider European context, see our report on ESMA’s deadline for non-MiCA stablecoins.

Tax treatment of an airdrop depends on where you live, and StandX gives no guidance. Check your local rules or ask a tax adviser before you claim, sell or redeem.

Fake StandX claim sites are the main danger

Shutdowns and airdrops both attract scammers, and here they come together. StandX is direct about it:

“Claim your airdrop only through the official StandX website. Any other claim link is a scam.”

StandX, X Article of 15 October 2026

StandX says it will never send you a direct message, never ask for a private key or seed phrase, and never ask you to send funds to receive the airdrop. Official channels are standx.com, docs.standx.com, @StandX_Official on X and the official Discord. A “StandX support” account offering help with a stuck withdrawal is a classic trap during a wind-down. Our guide on how to avoid crypto scams covers the usual tricks.

Risk score: 3 out of 5

We rate the StandX airdrop 3 out of 5. The claim itself is simple and the scam surface is small if you stick to standx.com, which would argue for a lower score. Three things push it up. The project is closing, so the team and its support will not be around forever. The amount is unknown and can be cut or voided by anti-Sybil checks. And DUSD has hard deadlines: redemption requests end on 31 January, the same day StandX pulls its liquidity from the pools. Effort is low and the only cost is a network fee. Nothing here is investment advice.

Next date to watch: 26 October

Reduce-Only mode starts on 20 October. Six days later, at 00:00 UTC on 26 October, the checker goes live and users see their own DUSD allocation for the first time. Coindaro will update this page with what the checker shows and any change to the dates.

Crypto-assets are volatile and you can lose all the money you invest. Nothing published on Coindaro is investment advice.
