Deadline in

Step by step

  1. On 3 November, reload asterdex.com/en/airdrop to confirm the dates have not changed.

  3. Connect the wallet you traded with during Stage 6 and check the vested amount.
  4. Claim before 4 December 2026 at 12:00 UTC.
  5. Find the ASTER balance in the Aster app under Spot, then Assets.

Our notes

The vested half of the Aster airdrop for Stage 6 opens on 4 November 2026 at 12:00 UTC and closes on 4 December 2026 at 12:00 UTC, according to Aster’s official airdrop page as we read it on 28 October. The pool behind it holds 64,000,000 ASTER, 0.8% of the token’s 8 billion maximum supply, for traders who scored at least 10,000 points in Stage 6 of the exchange’s points campaign.

Those dates rest on Aster’s page alone. The media coverage we found gave a different window, 28 October to 28 November, and we found no outlet that confirms 4 November. Nothing opens today.

Aster airdrop date: why 4 November and not 28 October

CryptoTicker, in a piece published on 18 October, wrote that the window opens on 28 October at 12:00 UTC and runs to 28 November, and said the project’s own page gave that date. It also noted that other sources named 4 November. The page we fetched on 28 October says otherwise, on both its main airdrop view and its allocation view: “100% Vested Claim: 12:00 UTC, 4 Nov – 12:00 UTC, 4 Dec 2026”. The buttons read “Claim on 4 Nov”, and a counter is labelled “Total airdrop locked until 4 Nov”.

The arithmetic fits the official version. Aster describes the vested option as a six-month lock, and the first Stage 6 claim window opened on 4 May 2026. Six months later is 4 November.

We cannot tell whether Aster changed its page after mid-October or whether the outlets got it wrong. One guess, and it is only that: Stage 4 used windows starting on the 28th of the month, and a copied pattern would produce exactly these dates. Aster also reserves the right to amend its activity rules. Reload the official page on 3 November.

Who can claim the vested ASTER tokens

Aster’s FAQ sets two conditions for the Stage 6 pool: you took part in Stage 6, and you reached at least 10,000 points during it. The page says allocations are earned “based on your S6 points”, but there is no public formula and no list of wallets. Your figure appears only after you connect a wallet to the airdrop page.

Between 12:00 UTC on 20 April and 12:00 UTC on 2 May 2026, every eligible user had to choose between two options. The FAQ leaves no room for a late change: “Your selection is final after 12:00 UTC, May 2.”

Option 1 paid half the allocation in May. Aster’s page says the other half “will be permanently forfeited”, so those users have nothing to collect in November. Option 2, which Aster marked “Recommended”, asked for a six-month wait in return for the whole amount, and the tokens carry no further lock once claimed.

How to claim, and where the tokens appear

  1. From 4 November 2026 at 12:00 UTC, open asterdex.com/en/airdrop by typing the address yourself, not by following a link from a message or an ad.
  2. Connect the wallet you traded with on Aster during Stage 6.
  3. Check the amount shown for the vested option, then claim it before 4 December 2026 at 12:00 UTC.
  4. Look for the balance in the Aster app under Spot, then Assets.

Claimed ASTER does not go straight to a self-custody wallet. Per the Stage 6 FAQ, it shows up in your Aster Spot account. Moving it to your own wallet is a separate withdrawal, and Aster’s TGE documentation says withdrawals pay network gas. ASTER is a BEP-20 token on BNB Chain; its contract, listed in Aster’s docs, is 0x000Ae314E2A2172a039B26378814C252734f556A.

Fees for the claim itself are not mentioned on the Stage 6 page. The only written statement covers the September 2025 TGE claim, when the docs said “no gas fees or wallet authorization are required to claim”. We mark this claim as free on that basis, but Aster has not confirmed it for Stage 6.

What Aster is and how Stage 6 points were earned

Aster calls itself a privacy-focused decentralised exchange for perpetual futures and spot trading, with markets on crypto, stocks and commodities. Orders run on Aster Chain, its own layer-1 network, and deposit bridges exist on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum and Sui. It competes for the same on-chain perp traders as Hyperliquid.

Stage 6, branded “Convergence”, rewarded trading on Aster’s perpetual and spot markets. The Stage 6 rules add up points for fees paid and maker liquidity, open positions, ASTER, asBNB or USDF used as margin, liquidation fees and hourly net profit and loss, then multiply the total by a team boost and add referral points from up to two levels of invitees. The weightings were never published.

Market makers in Aster’s dedicated programme could not earn points, each user was limited to one entry, and Aster kept the right to disqualify wash trading or bulk-registered accounts. The rules page gives no start or end date. KuCoin’s news feed reported in January that Stage 6 would run from 2 February to 29 March 2026 and would be the last airdrop tied to trading activity, with later emissions going to staking. Aster’s own pages do not state either point.

Earlier stages: a shrinking airdrop

Every stage since the token launch has paid out fewer tokens than the one before. Stages 2 to 6 add up to 800,000,000 ASTER, and the vesting choice appeared with Stage 4.

Aster’s tokenomics reserve 53.5% of supply, or 4.28 billion ASTER, for airdrops. Since an upgrade the docs date to 17 June, 99% of daily platform fees buy back ASTER for veASTER stakers, and each buyback is matched by an equal burn from reserves, team allocation first, every two weeks until total supply falls to 3 billion. The docs give no running total of tokens burned. The airdrop page has a “Total burn amount” label, but the copy we fetched carries no figure next to it. Our tokenomics explainer covers how such supply schedules work.

What is still unknown

  • The fate of Stage 6 tokens left unclaimed after 4 December. The Stage 4 and Stage 5 sections say unclaimed tokens are forfeited once the window closes, and Stages 2 and 3 sent theirs to ecosystem initiatives, but the Stage 6 section has no such line.
  • Whether claiming carries a fee this time.
  • Whether forfeited Stage 6 tokens are burned. KuCoin linked the lock to a burn mechanism; Aster’s page speaks only of forfeiting.
  • Whether someone living in a restricted country can claim at all.
  • Any Stage 7 pool. The airdrop page has a seventh tab, Stardust, which Aster describes as an ongoing points-tracking dashboard with no end date, but it names no token amount or claim date.

Restricted countries: US, UK and Canada named, EU not mentioned

Aster’s terms and conditions, last updated on 25 February 2026, forbid use of its services by anyone who lives in, is located in or is incorporated in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, China, North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, Venezuela or Syria, or in a territory under comprehensive sanctions. Users promise not to use any means to get around location restrictions, which rules out a VPN. They must be at least 18, and Aster says it may run identity checks.

France, Italy and the other EU states do not appear on that list. The terms simply do not name them; they do not say that residents there may use the service. We found no sign that Aster holds a MiCA authorisation or is registered with the AMF in France or with Consob in Italy, so its legal position in the EU is unknown. Tax on airdropped tokens depends on where you live.

Scales of justice next to a plain flag and a warning sign
Aster's terms bar residents of eleven named countries, including the US, UK and Canada.

Fake claim pages and how to spot them

A disputed date is useful to scammers: anyone who read “28 October” may click the first “claim now” link they see. Any page saying the Stage 6 vested claim is open before 4 November at 12:00 UTC is not Aster’s. For the 2025 claim, Aster’s docs warned users to check any page asking for an “approval”, a common phishing step. Do not sign approvals or hand over a seed phrase, ignore direct messages offering help, and take addresses from Aster’s official links page. Our guide to fake airdrops and claim sites describes the usual tricks.

Risk score: 3 out of 5

On the plus side, the 2025 claim cost nothing and needed no wallet approval, the tokens are credited to an Aster account, and the airdrop and allocation views give the same dates, which also match the six-month lock.

Against that, the date is disputed in the press and Aster keeps “the right of final interpretation” of its activity. The Stage 6 page is silent on unclaimed tokens and on fees. The claim also needs access to an exchange that bars the US, the UK and Canada, and fake claim pages are common. What the tokens will be worth on the day you claim them is unknown, and ASTER has moved widely since its launch in September 2025.

For holders of an option 2 airdrop allocation, the window shuts on 4 December 2026 at 12:00 UTC, and Aster has published no rule saying what happens to tokens nobody collects.
