About the event

Bitcoin 2027 takes place from 15 to 17 July 2027 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The organisers bill it as the world’s largest Bitcoin conference. After two editions in Las Vegas, it returns to the city that hosted Bitcoin 2024.

Who organises Bitcoin 2027?

The conference is run by BTC Inc., the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, itself a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Nakamoto Inc. The 2027 dates were announced on the second day of Bitcoin 2026 at The Venetian in Las Vegas. The Nashville edition of 2024 drew an estimated 35,000 attendees and 444 speakers across six stages, according to Bitcoin Magazine, and featured Donald Trump as a headliner.

Audience and themes

Bitcoin 2027 targets builders, investors, miners, companies holding bitcoin, policymakers and enthusiasts. The official site groups speakers into investing, technology, mining, culture and policy, and the event combines main-stage keynotes, an expo floor and side events across the city. Speakers and the full programme are announced progressively on the official site.

Why it matters

The Bitcoin conference has become a stage for US politics as well as for the industry: policy announcements and corporate treasury strategies often make headlines there. It is also the place to see new wallets and tools. If you plan to take bitcoin to the event, our guide to self-custody explains how to keep control of your keys.
