EthCC[10] 2027 (Cannes)

EthCC[10], the tenth Ethereum Community Conference, takes place from 12 to 15 April 2027 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, on the French Riviera. EthCC is one of the largest annual European gatherings dedicated to Ethereum.

Who organises EthCC?

EthCC is run by Ethereum France, a non-profit association. After editions in Paris and, in 2024, Brussels, the conference moved to Cannes in 2025, and Ethereum France signed a three-year agreement with the Palais des Festivals that keeps it there until 2028. According to the Palais des Festivals, the 2025 edition drew more than 6,500 accredited participants, about 10,000 people in total and 400 speakers, plus around 1,000 developers at the ETHGlobal hackathon held alongside it.

Audience and themes

EthCC is a community and developer event more than a business fair. Talks are short and often technical: protocol research, scaling and layer 2 networks, DeFi, security, privacy, wallets and governance. The audience mixes core developers, researchers, founders, investors and students, and the week is surrounded by hundreds of side events in town.

Why it matters

EthCC is where many Ethereum teams present research and roadmaps to their peers, so it is a good barometer of what the ecosystem will ship next. An earlier announcement by the Palais des Festivals mentioned 5-8 April 2027; the official EthCC site now gives 12-15 April, which is the date to keep. New to the subject?
