About the event

Consensus 2027, CoinDesk’s flagship crypto conference, takes place from 4 to 6 May 2027 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Florida. It is the second Miami edition, after the conference moved there in May 2026.

What is Consensus?

Consensus is organised by CoinDesk, one of the oldest crypto news outlets. It positions itself as a deal-making event for senior leaders from crypto, finance, technology and policy, and claims around 15,000 attendees from more than 100 countries. CoinDesk also runs a separate Consensus edition in Hong Kong, usually in February.

Themes for 2027

  • Crypto at scale: onchain infrastructure, protocol choices and policy.
  • Institutional integration: tokenised securities and onchain revenue for businesses.
  • Agentic commerce: AI agents that trade, manage portfolios and run automated financial services.

Recent editions mixed exchange and fund executives, founders, regulators and lawmakers; the 2026 programme featured a Michael Saylor keynote and a fireside with Changpeng Zhao, according to the official site.

Practical information

  • Dates: Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6 May 2027.
  • Venue: Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139.
  • Passes as of October 2026: Pro $699, Pro+ $1,499, Premier $4,999. CoinDesk says prices increase after 22 January.
  • Buy only from the official site: fake ticket resellers and phishing links circulate before big events.

Why it matters

Consensus is one of the largest crypto conferences in the United States, and many companies use it to announce products, partnerships and funding rounds. Panels on stablecoins, tokenisation and US regulation give a useful snapshot of where the industry stands in spring 2027.
