About the event

Blockchain Life 2026 returns to Dubai on 1 and 2 December 2026, at Festival Arena in Dubai Festival City. Billed by the organiser as its 17th edition, the event is run by Listing.Help and JETS CAPITAL, the companies of founder Sergei Khitrov. The dates have moved: the 2025 edition was held on 28 and 29 October, so listings that still show late October are a year out of date.

Two things are new this year. Every ticket also opens the doors of a new AI Future Forum, held in the same venue, and the main event anchors a “Blockchain Life Week” of more than 100 side events between 27 November and 6 December, according to the official site. The organiser claims more than 30,000 visitors at its side events, a figure it does not break down by year.

Blockchain Life 2026 Dubai programme: eight tracks and an AI stage

The organiser lists eight themes. Trading covers Bitcoin, altcoins, derivatives and on-chain analytics. Mining goes from ASICs to AI compute, data centres and energy. The AI Future track deals with AI agents, enterprise AI, infrastructure, robotics and hardware. Then come Blockchain (layer 1 and layer 2 networks, rollups, zero-knowledge proofs, interoperability), Finance (DeFi, tokenised real-world assets, stablecoins, payments, banking), Investments and Institutions (venture capital, ETFs, M&A), Web3 (wallets, identity, gaming, SocialFi) and Startups, which hosts a pitch competition.

Talks run on three stages: the Space Stage, the MEXC Stage and the new AI Future Stage. The official site names them in its ticket details, and tech site tbreak gives the same list. A press release carried by Cointelegraph adds a trading tournament and the Blockchain Life Awards, and the evening of 2 December ends with an afterparty whose headliner has not been named. No detailed agenda or timetable has been published.

Speakers: none confirmed for 2026 yet

As of 16 October, the organiser has not named a single 2026 speaker. Press releases promise “200+” speakers, without names, and the speakers page of the official site returns an error. The section on the home page is titled “Top speakers 2017-2025” and lists past guests only, among them Telegram founder Pavel Durov, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov and Ledger chairman Pascal Gauthier. Treat any list of “2026 speakers” seen elsewhere with caution until the organiser publishes it.

Tickets and prices

Prices on the official site are shown in US dollars, but payment is processed in UAE dirhams (AED), so the amount charged at checkout can differ slightly. Each tier has three price steps, and the dates of the increases are not published. The site’s price timeline does show when sales close: seven days before the event for VIP, two days for Business and one day for Standard. Prices below were read on 16 October 2026.

TicketPrice nowNext stepLast stepWhat it adds
Standard$189$229$399Expo, conference halls, networking app, water, coffee and tea
Business$329$449$729Lunch on both days and one year of access to the multi-camera talk recordings
VIP$999$1,379$2,099VIP registration desks, the VIP and speaker lounge, the official afterparty on 2 December (21:00 to 02:00)

tbreak quotes the Standard pass at AED 694. Tickets are sold on the official site and on Platinumlist, the official UAE ticket partner. tbreak reports that the afterparty needs a separate ticket; the official site says it is included with VIP.

Venue and getting there

Festival Arena belongs to the InterContinental Dubai Festival City complex, on Al Badia Boulevard, on the Dubai Creek and not far from Dubai International Airport (DXB). The official site gives no street address, so check the final directions on your ticket. By public transport, take the Dubai Metro Green Line to Creek station. From Exit 1, Dubai Festival City Mall is about a nine-minute walk, according to the property site Property Finder, and the arena sits in the same district. A short taxi ride also works.

Most EU passport holders, including French and Italian travellers, get a visa on arrival in the UAE; confirm with the UAE authorities or your airline before you fly. Rules for African passports vary by nationality, and many require a visa in advance, so check early.

Book a room early. The Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, the season finale, runs from 3 to 6 December 2026 at Yas Marina, with the race on Sunday 6 December. The organiser ties its week of side events to the race weekend.

Past editions and the attendance claims

The first edition took place in 2017. According to the organiser’s recap of the 2025 edition, published as a paid release on 31 October 2025, the 15th edition drew a record 16,730 attendees from 130 countries, with more than 160 speakers and 200 booths. OKX, Bybit, Ledger and Bitmain were among the exhibitors. None of these figures has been audited independently.

The 2025 edition also produced real news. On 29 October 2025, Pavel Durov used the stage to present Cocoon (Confidential Compute Open Network), a decentralised network for AI computing built on TON, a launch reported by Bloomberg Government. He said the network would go live the following month.

The official site says 68% of its attendees are founders or C-level executives. In a separate survey where visitors could tick several boxes, 65% described themselves as investors or funds and 32% as traders. By region, it claims 37% from Europe, 37% from Asia, 18% from North America and only 3% from Africa. Its top ten countries include the UAE, Russia, the United States, the UK, Germany and Spain; France and Italy are not among them. For 2026, releases announce “15,000+ attendees from 130+ countries”.

Dubai rules versus MiCA: what European visitors should know

Crypto firms in Dubai answer to the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), created by Dubai Law No. 4 of 2022, issued on 28 February 2022 and in force since 11 March that year. VARA calls itself the sole regulator of virtual assets across Dubai’s mainland and free zones, except the DIFC financial centre, which has its own regulator, the DFSA. The organiser’s marketing about “one of the world’s leading regulatory environments” and zero personal income tax is its own pitch.

A VARA licence lets a firm operate in Dubai. It gives no right to serve clients in the EU, where a provider needs authorisation under MiCA. Before you sign up with a platform met at a booth, look it up in the VARA public register and in ESMA’s MiCA register. VARA’s register has separate tabs for licensed providers and for those holding only an In-Principle Approval, so check which tab the firm appears under. Our guide to the MiCA regulation explains how the EU rules work, and our guide to avoiding crypto scams lists the warning signs of “exclusive deals” offered at events.

Why it matters for readers in Europe and Africa

Few crypto trade shows in the Gulf draw a bigger crowd, and the move to December places Blockchain Life among the last large meetings of 2026, after Bitcoin Amsterdam on 5 and 6 November and Solana Breakpoint in London from 15 to 17 November. The expo floor is dominated by exchanges and mining-hardware makers, which makes it a venue for listing deals and mining news rather than for developer talks. MEXC has its own stage this year. The 2025 recap lists OKX, Bybit, KuCoin, HTX, Bitget and Bitmain among the exhibitors, plus wallet makers Ledger and Trust Wallet. If the 2025 line-up repeats, a founder from Lagos or Lyon hunting for an exchange listing will find many of the largest trading platforms on one floor.

What is still unknown

Several details are missing as of 16 October: the names of 2026 speakers, the agenda and daily opening hours, the dates of the next price steps, the venue and artist of the afterparty, and whether any ticket tier is close to selling out. The edition count also has a gap: 2025 was billed as the 15th edition and 2026 as the 17th, and we found no trace of a 16th. We will update this page when the organiser publishes its programme.
