About the event

AIBC World Rome 2026 runs from 2 to 5 November 2026 at Fiera Roma, the trade fair grounds on the road between central Rome and Fiumicino airport. AIBC is the AI and blockchain brand of SiGMA Group, a Malta-based events company best known for iGaming shows. It does not have the venue to itself: AIBC shares Fiera Roma with SiGMA World (iGaming), FX World (trading and financial markets) and AGS, the Affiliate Grand Slam, under one combined ticket sold on the SiGMA World ticket page.

That set-up shapes what a crypto visitor will find. Blockchain and crypto content sits mainly in one place, the new AIBC Hall (Hall 7), with its own AIBC Stage. The rest of the grounds belongs largely to gambling operators, affiliates and trading firms.

One crypto hall inside a much larger show

SiGMA presents the November edition as four shows sharing Fiera Roma, each with its own content and exhibition areas. The figures it publishes are for the whole event. On its SiGMA World summit page (archived on 1 October 2026) the organiser claims 30,000 delegates, more than 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors, 550 speakers on five conference stages, 100,000 square metres of space and three startup pitch competitions. The same page breaks down the audience as 7,500 operators, 7,500 affiliates and 47% C-level executives.

Those numbers do not describe the crypto side alone. No source we found gives attendance or exhibitor counts for AIBC on its own, and the organiser’s own figures move from page to page: the same summit page also says 500+ speakers, while an October press release gives 1,000 exhibitors and 300 speakers. Treat all of them as organiser claims for the combined, mostly iGaming, event.

What the AIBC Hall and AIBC Stage cover

According to a press release distributed by Chainwire on 6 October, Hall 7 is reserved for blockchain and AI providers, and the release calls it one of the largest dedicated blockchain exhibition spaces in Europe. That is the organiser’s description, not a measured ranking. Panels on blockchain, AI and emerging technology run on the AIBC Stage inside the hall.

The release names ten exhibitors: Bitcoin.com, Blockchain.com, Transak, Gate, CertiK, BitGo, Fireblocks, Chainalysis, TradingView and Alchemy Pay. An earlier version of the release, published on Coinpaper on 18 August, also listed Bybit and BIT.COM. Many of them sell to businesses: custody at BitGo and Fireblocks, compliance analytics at Chainalysis, security audits at CertiK, fiat on-ramps at Transak and Alchemy Pay. Exchanges and wallet brands such as Gate, Blockchain.com and Bitcoin.com sit next to them.

Beyond the hall, the programme includes the AIBC Startup Pitch, with six finalists from crypto, blockchain, Web3 and AI, and the AIBC & FX Awards, for AI, crypto, blockchain and fintech firms, with winners named at a ceremony that includes a charity art auction. Off the show floor there is an iGathering cocktail at the Lanterna di Fuksas building and a golf event, the SiGMA Nexus Elite Golf Tour.

Speakers announced by the organiser

Six names appear in the October release. They are speakers announced by the organiser, not a published agenda, and no day-by-day schedule for the AIBC Stage was readable when we checked on 16 October.

  • Tim Draper, founder of Draper Associates
  • Charlie Lee, creator of Litecoin (LTC)
  • Reeve Collins, chairman and co-founder of STBL and WeFi
  • Felix Fan, CEO of Trust Wallet
  • Arthur Breitman, co-founder of Tezos
  • Brando Benifei, Italian member of the European Parliament

Benifei is known in Brussels for his work on the EU AI Act. The organiser has not said what he will speak about, so do not expect a session on Italian crypto rules on the strength of his name. Event listings run by third parties mention MiCA, stablecoins and tokenised assets as themes. None of these appears on an official agenda we could read.

Tickets and prices for AIBC World Rome

The official ticket page sold no AIBC-only pass when we read it on 16 October 2026. Visitors buy a SiGMA World 2026 ticket, which covers the four co-located shows. The page listed three paid tiers, each with an online sale price and a higher door price, and a countdown in its code ended the sale prices on 16 October 2026 at 23:59 UTC. The online price that applies after that had not been published.

TierOnline sale price (ended 16 Oct, 23:59 UTC)Door price (listed 16 Oct)
Standard€406€525
Premium€884€999
Platinum€1,071€1,375

Standard covers the welcome reception, the exhibition, all conferences and workshops and the startup pitch. Premium adds a half-day activity. Only Platinum includes networking drinks, the VIP lounge, one iGathering dinner, on-demand playback of stage sessions and a seat for one at an awards dinner; the organiser decides which one (SiGMA, AIBC/FX, AGS or the Italian awards). The page does not say whether VAT is included.

Free passes exist, but not for the general public. Affiliates and licensed gambling operators, land-based ones included, can apply for a free Standard pass, and the page warns that non-operator applications will be rejected. A crypto founder or investor without an operator licence pays. Prices are in euros, so euro-zone readers face no currency conversion.

Fiera Roma: venue and getting there

The address is Via Portuense 1645, 00148 Rome. The organiser puts the fair 8 minutes from Fiumicino (FCO) airport and about 30 minutes from the city centre by taxi. Rome’s second airport, Ciampino, also serves the city. Regional trains from Tuscolana, Tiburtina and Ostiense stations stop in front of the venue, for a €1.50 train ticket, according to the organiser. The grounds have 7,000 parking spaces.

Fiera Roma is built for crowds larger than this one. SiGMA says its meeting rooms take up to 3,000 people and the whole site up to 60,000.

Opening hours for each day were not published on the pages we could read. Italy leaves summer time on 25 October, so the show runs on CET (UTC+1).

From Malta to Rome: a short history

SiGMA built its name in Malta, where AIBC grew up as the blockchain and AI side of its shows. The move to Rome is recent. Fiera Roma’s own calendar lists “SiGMA Central Europe” at the same address from 4 to 6 November 2025, the group’s first edition in the Italian capital.

The 2027 calendar on SiGMA’s site confirms the shift. SiGMA Europe returns to Ta’ Qali, Malta, on 3 to 5 May 2027, and the November flagship is the Rome show. AIBC Eurasia is set for RAK and Dubai on 15 to 17 March 2027, and SiGMA Africa meets in Cape Town on 15 to 17 February 2027.

Why it matters for readers in Europe

For readers in Italy and southern Europe, AIBC World Rome is a large crypto-related show they can reach by train from the airport and pay for in euros. It is a trade fair, though. The audience is business-to-business: payment firms, custody and compliance providers, exchanges looking for partners, and a much larger gambling industry. Readers after a crypto-only conference have two nearby dates: the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano on 23 and 24 October, and Bitcoin Amsterdam 2026, which opens on 5 November, the last day of the Rome show.

One general point applies to any exhibitor offering services to EU users. Under the EU’s MiCA rules, a crypto-asset service provider needs an authorisation, and a stand at a fair is not one. Our guide to MiCA explains how to check a firm’s licence. Token promotions and startup pitches deserve the same caution as anywhere else; the warning signs are in our guide to avoiding crypto scams.

What is still unknown

Several things were open on 16 October. The venue’s public calendar on fieraroma.it did not yet list the 2026 edition, although it lists the 2025 one; the organiser’s pages are explicit about the dates, so this looks like a gap in the venue listing, but we note it. Daily opening hours, the AIBC Stage agenda, the ticket price after 16 October and the VAT treatment were not published. Nor is there any figure for AIBC visitors or exhibitors separate from the whole show. We will update this page as the organiser publishes them.
